Today, TTArtisan has launched its AF 56mm F1.8 autofocus lens for Fujifilm X and Sony E-mount APS-C cameras, adding another affordable option to its growing lineup.
TTArtisan continues to expand its portfolio with the release of the AF 56mm F1.8 lens, specifically designed for Fujifilm X and Sony E-mount APS-C cameras. The company has also listed a version for Nikon Z-mount on its website, which is currently ‘Sold Out.’
The AF 56mm F1.8 lens features a robust construction with a full aluminum build, weighing in between 233-245g (8.2-8.8oz). It incorporates ten elements arranged in nine groups and houses nine aperture blades. A standout feature is its stepper motor, which promises fast and silent autofocus.
With a minimum focusing distance of 0.5m (19.6″) and a minimum aperture setting of F16, this lens is designed for those who seek quality portrait shots without breaking the bank. The inclusion of one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) element aims to minimize color fringing, enhancing the overall image quality.
Interestingly, this new release provides a different optical formula compared to the recently announced Viltrox AF 56mm F1.7 lens for Fujifilm X and Nikon Z mounts. Notably, the TTArtisan lens lacks an aperture ring, a characteristic it shares with the Viltrox model.
This is TTArtisan’s fourth and the second autofocus lens released within the last few weeks, following the AF 35mm F1.8 for Sony E-mount cameras launched earlier this month.
The TTArtisan AF 56mm F1.8 lens is available for immediate global shipping, retailing at a recommended price of $158. Its budget-friendly price tag and promising features make it an attractive option for enthusiast photographers looking to enhance their gear without spending a fortune.
