Nikon is turning heads yet again with the launch of their Z6III. This midrange full-frame camera is not just compact but packs a punch with 6K video capabilities and the world’s first partially stacked sensor, promising superior image quality.

Nikon’s latest addition to its acclaimed Z series, the Z6III, is designed for both photographers and videographers who want a versatile yet compact setup. Inspired by the features of its high-end siblings, the Z8 and Z9, the Z6III delivers exquisite details in still images and internal 6K/60P RAW video recording.

The standout feature of the Z6III is its world’s first partially stacked full-frame CMOS sensor. Coupled with the EXPEED 7 processor found in the Z8 and Z9, this camera offers remarkable image quality, dynamic range, and color fidelity. The advanced sensor and processor duo make light work of autofocus calculations and electronic viewfinder refresh rates, enhancing both photography and videography experiences.

Photographers will appreciate the camera’s ability to shoot continuously at up to 120 frames per second without worrying about rolling shutter distortion. Meanwhile, videographers can produce pristine 6K and 5.4K footage or create highly detailed 4K UHD video oversampled from 6K in-camera. The camera’s intelligent subject detection tracks eyes in both people and animals, and its broad ISO range, along with AF sensitivity down to –10 EV, ensures excellent performance even in low light.

One of the Z6III’s highlights is its ultra-bright electronic viewfinder, which is the first in a mirrorless camera to feature a wide DCI-P3 color gamut. This ensures lifelike color representation and high-definition views that make it easier to capture every detail in both bright and dim conditions.

Key features of the Z6III include its 24.5 MP full-frame sensor, internal 6K/60P RAW video recording, external mic input for pro-quality sound, and a high-resolution vari-angle monitor for viewing from any angle. The camera also boasts powerful 5-axis image stabilization, dual card slots, and a lightweight, weather-sealed body, making it tough enough for any shooting environment.

The Nikon Z6III will be available for purchase in July 2024. The body alone is priced at £2,699 in the UK and €3,099.00 in ROI.

With its groundbreaking features and compact design, the Nikon Z6III is sure to be a game-changer for creative enthusiasts looking to elevate their craft.
