Fujifilm has just introduced the Instax WIDE 400™, an upgrade from its predecessor that launched a decade ago. Sporting a sleek Sage Green look, this analogue instant camera is designed to double the width of the much-loved Instax mini film, making it ideal for capturing group photos and sweeping landscapes.
One of the standout features of the Instax WIDE 400™ is its new self-timer, which means no one has to stay behind the camera during group shots. Additionally, it comes with a camera angle adjustment accessory, so you can achieve that perfect shot without needing a tripod. For those who love macro photography, a close-up lens attachment lets you get as close as 40cm to your subject. And if you want to capture scenes at a distance, simply switch the lens to Landscape mode to focus on areas three meters or beyond.
The Instax WIDE 400™ also comes with a matching camera case that complements its Sage Green color, adding to its stylish appearance. This camera is slated for release on July 12, 2024, with a suggested retail price of £129.99, while the case is priced at £25.99.
But that’s not all—Fujifilm is also refreshing its Instax mini LiPlay™ hybrid instant camera. This 2-in-1 camera has been updated with three new colors—Matcha Green, Misty White, and Deep Bronze—each featuring a trendy textured finish. The new model now includes a USB Type-C port for easier charging, and firmware updates can be done directly through the dedicated app. Despite these changes, it retains all previous features like voice message recording and smartphone image printing.
The Instax mini LiPlay™ will be available a week after the Instax WIDE 400™, on July 19, 2024, for £149.99. Matching cases for this model are also priced at £25.99. Both cameras and their accessories will be available online, in-store from authorized Instax retailers, and at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in London.
